Lincoln (4 y.o.) and Ryder (2 y.o.) love to play with water sensory bins! It is one of their all-time favorite activities.
We have two versions of water sensory bins: indoor and outdoor.
Outdoor Water Sensory Bin How-To:

When wet set these up outside, we use the short and wide plastic storage bins, one for each kid. We fill them up with water and put them on their picnic table. Then we bring out toys like stacking cups, hot wheels, waterfall wheels, and magnetic fishing poles. They have a blast!

Indoor Water Sensory Bin How-To:
The difference for us is that when we do this inside at the table, we put two kitchen bowls inside their bins and keep the water in the bowls instead of in the bottom of the bins. This helps there be less mess because there is less water and because if they splash, it usually stays inside the bin. Check out this short video of the boys playing with water bins inside:
If you try this, let me know how your little ones like it!
xx, M.
